2014 NFL Draft Grade: Miami Dolphins Select

With the 19th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins have selected JuWuan James, OT, Tennesse.

The Dolphins needed a right tackle after the debacle that was their offensive line a season ago. James wasn’t a highly touted prospect as far as some of the other players at his position in this draft but he’s been a name linked to Miami for over a week.

James has the ability to step in and start at the right tackle position for Miami this season after they made a huge splash by signing Branden Albert away from the Chiefs.

Grade: C+

This is an OK pick. I don’t view it as great value for the Dolphins but they fill a need at right tackle and arguably their biggest as Ryan Tannehill was hit way too much last year.
