2015 NFL Draft Order: Buccaneers Pick First, Top 20 Set

It’s difficult to believe, but the 2014 NFL regular season is over. No more Red Zone Channel until next year, which hurts my heart a little bit. That being said, the conclusion of the NFL’s regular season is the beginning of the playoffs as well as the start of NFL Draft season. Fans of teams who didn’t make it can turn their attention to the conclusion of college bowl season and start preparing for the next wave of top prospects in the draft.

After the noon hour games concluded on Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were officially on the clock, losing to the New Orleans Saints and earning the right to pick first overall in this year’s draft.

The Bucs get the top pick, followed by the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, and Washington Redskins to round out the top five. Here is the official top 20 order (graphic via ESPN).

As of right now, the Cleveland Browns are the only team with two first round draft picks. They acquired the pick from the Buffalo Bills last year in the trade for wide receiver Sammy Watkins. It should also be noted that the Buffalo Bills did not finish 7-9, they were 9-7. That record on the graphic is for the Cleveland Browns.

The Washington Redskins have a first round pick for the first time since they drafted Robert Griffin III in 2012. That worked out great so far, so we’ll see how they choose to build around that move going forward.
