Quarterback — Terrelle Pryor (24); Matt Flynn (28); Tyler Wilson (23)

Backup — Matt McGloin (23)

This is quite possibly the worst QB situation in the NFL right now. Until further notice, my pick for the top potential fantasy quarterback in Oakland is Terrelle Pryor. I am not sure Matt Flynn would be a draftable QB in most leagues unless you are running 14 players and he was a backup, and if Tyler Wilson wins the job, he’s going to have a rude awakening to the NFL I think. Right now, the Oakland QB situation is not a great one. They need a guy to come in and step up similar to what Russell Wilson did for the Seahawks did last year, when there was seemingly no clear-cut QB choice at this point in the offseason.

For me, I think this decision comes down to pure upside. The Raiders have former third round pick Terrelle Pryor (2011 Supp.) sitting there, having developed for nearly three full seasons now, and even though he’s been inconsistent thus far, I think his big arm and ability to create when the play breaks down are too enticing for the Raiders to pass on.

If it were up to this guy, the starter would be Pryor and I might even take a late round gamble on him in my league.
