Second Year — Kendall Reyes, DL

Reyes was looking really improved toward the end of his rookie season, including a 3.5 sack performance against the New York Jets.

This is a player I was really high on coming out of UConn, and I think with his rookie season in the rear-view mirror, Reyes has a chance to be a real star in the Chargers’ defensive scheme. He is a versatile player who is–at this point–a better pass rusher than run stuffer, but I think the Chargers have the players in place to make Reyes a very successful pass rusher from their three-man front.

This is a guy with great length who had 29 tackles and 5.5 sacks in his rookie season. I think he has a chance to be one of the most improved players on the team in his second year.
