Second Year — Dontari Poe, DT

The Chiefs operate out of a 3-4 defensive look, and right now the nose tackle position belongs to 2012 first rounder Dontari Poe. Poe doesn’t have any real competition on the Chiefs’ roster for that nose tackle spot, but he does have a lot of pressure being the only starter from his entire draft class just one year ago.

Coming out of Memphis, Poe was considered a raw prospect but a freak athletically. He possesses skills that no other defensive lineman in his class possessed.

I think Poe has a lot to prove this year. He is playing on a very talented defense and he no longer has any excuses with a year under his belt of learning the speed of the game, and I think he could be a disruptive force up front for KC.
