Second Year — Kendall Wright, WR
Kendall Wright was the Titans’ first round pick in 2012, and after blowing records out of the water at Baylor with Robert Griffin III, Wright managed just 64 catches for 624 yards and four TDs as a rookie, which actually aren’t bad numbers for a first year player.
New offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains says he has big plans for the former Baylor star, who has been really working hard to get himself into better shape this offseason. Wright says he has dropped 14 pounds from his previous weight of 201 pounds, and that should allow him some extra speed and explosion.
With an entirely new offense under Loggains, I think that Wright is set to be utilized more properly as a vertical threat and show the Titans why he was worth a first round pick a year ago.
