2. First round, 30th overall: Alec Ogletree, LB, Georgia

Ogletree was my top rated linebacker in this draft class, and he fills a huge need on the weakside for the Rams. Pair this guy with James Laurinaitis and you have one of the nastiest couple of linebackers in the league. Ogletree made a boneheaded mistake before the draft, getting a DUI leading up to the biggest moment of his football career, but that wasn’t enough to keep the Rams from picking him up in the late first round after trading down a bit. This is one of the best sideline-to-sideline players at his position in the league, but he can also penetrate and make plays in the backfield. Ogletree is a great athlete who can cover a lot of ground and play in any scheme. I had him rated 16th overall on my big board, and I think the Rams got a steal at the bottom of the first round, and a guy who can start for them for a very long time.
