2013 NFL DRAFT FACTS & FIGURES

Twenty-three top prospects are confirmed to attend the 2013 NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

That includes a 2013-best four players from BCS National Champion Alabama: T D.J. FlukerRB Eddie LacyCB Dee Milliner, and G Chance Warmack – and four players from Florida State – QB E.J. ManuelDE Bjoern WernerT Menelik Watson, and CB Xavier Rhodes.

WHEN:8:00 PM ET, Thursday, April 25 (Round 1).
 6:30 PM ET, Friday, April 26 (Rounds 2-3).
 Noon ET, Saturday, April 27 (Rounds 4-7).
  
 The first round will conclude on Thursday by approximately 11:15 PM ET. In 2012, the first round consumed exactly three hours. The second and third rounds will conclude on Friday by approximately 10:30 PM ET. The second and third rounds took three hours and 48 minutes in 2012. The draft will conclude by approximately 7:30 PM ET on Saturday with the final four rounds. Rounds 4 through 7 took seven hours and 17 minutes in 2012.
  
DRAFTING:Representatives of the 32 NFL clubs by telephone communication with their general managers, coaches and scouts.
  
ROUNDS:Seven Rounds – Round 1 on Thursday, April 25; Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday, April 26; and Rounds 4 through 7 on Saturday, April 27.
  
 There will be 254 selections, including 32 compensatory choices that have been awarded to 16 teams that suffered a net loss of certain quality unrestricted free agents last year.
  
 The following 32 compensatory choices will supplement the 222 regular choices in the seven rounds –

 

Round 3: Houston, 33; Kansas City, 34; Tennessee, 35. Round 4: Baltimore, 33; San Francisco, 34; Detroit, 35; Atlanta, 36. Round 5Miami, 33; Green Bay, 34; Baltimore, 35.  Round 6: Houston, 33; Tennessee, 34; Baltimore, 35; Kansas City, 36; Oakland, 37; Pittsburgh, 38. Round 7: Philadelphia, 33; Cincinnati, 34; Seattle, 35; Seattle, 36; Atlanta, 37; Atlanta, 38; Detroit, 39; San Francisco, 40; Baltimore, 41; Tennessee, 42; Atlanta, 43; Miami, 44; Cincinnati, 45; San Francisco, 46; New York Giants, 47; Indianapolis, 48.

  
 The New York Jets (Nos. 9 and 13), St. Louis Rams (Nos. 16 and 22) and Minnesota Vikings (Nos. 23 and 25) have two selections in the first round. Seattle, Tampa Bay and Washington do not have first-round picks. All other teams have one first-round selection.
  
TIME LIMITS:Round 110 minutes per selection. Round 2Seven minutes per selection. Rounds 3 through 7Five minutes per selection.
  
TELEVISION:NFL Network, ESPN/ESPN 2 will televise the draft on all three days.

NFL Mobile from Verizon streams NFL Network’s 2013 NFL Draft Coverage in its entirety throughout the three days of the NFL Draft. Also available through NFL Mobile from Verizon is a live draft tracker and video on-demand featuring draft and team analysis.

 

New for this year, Draft Xtra – a feature on the NFL ’13 app – offers a comprehensive second-screen companion to NFL Network and NFL.com Live’s coverage of the 2013 NFL Draft. The free, downloadableDraft Xtra on NFL ‘13 app will have both on-demand and live video featuring Elliot HarrisonBucky Brooks and Dave Dameshek conducting numerous interviews with NFL draftees, NFL greats, and fans in attendance at Radio City Music Hall.
