Scouting Report/Player Notes

Honorable mention All-American in 2012, and one of the best tight ends in the country. Escobar combines elite size with good hands and ability to make plays after the reception. He could probably stand to add a bit of bulk (255 is still great size) but overall, he has the look of a complete tight end prospect. One of the top receivers at SDSU the last couple of years, and a player with great length and really soft hands. Able to stretch defenses over the middle and a nightmare matchup for safeties and linebackers. When he starts to get the hang of the pace of the NFL, he could be a serious weapon in the passing game. Underrated player.
