Justin Blackmon Arrested for Second DUI Amid Negotiations

I’m usually a pretty forgiving person, but Justin Blackmon is a total fool. After receiving redemption and a lot of grace from people for his first DUI at Oklahoma State, Blackmon has blown a 0.24 and received a second DUI, an area of his career statistics the Jaguars and everybody else do NOT want to see increase.

Simply put, I regret even have to make these kinds of posts. I doubt severely that Justin Blackmon is going to read anything I’m writing, but he needs to get his head out of you know where. It’s simply ridiculous to be making choices like this when you are a professional athlete, and it’s inexcusable. He may bring it on the field, but this is significant enough of a mental error for me to believe he probably wasn’t worth the fifth overall pick in the draft due to his off-field choices.

I don’t understand, as an NFL athlete, how you can not have a designated driver, or even a friend to bring you home after you go out and get hammered. I’m not a fan of pro athletes going out and getting wasted anyway, but to drive home and endanger the lives of others because you are too stupid to make a phone call is ridiculous, idiotic, and historically dumb.

Justin Blackmon was the fifth overall pick in the draft after the Jaguars traded up for him in the 2012 NFL Draft, and if he were on my team, he’d be doing up-downs until he puked at the next practice he shows up to, after his holdout ends, of course.

I believe Blackmon can be a stud on the field, so he needs to get his act together and stop making the same dumb mistake.
