Fantasy Football is right around the corner, and we’ll be in full fantasy football mode soon. I thought today I’d give you fantasy football lovers some reading material to hold you over.

Fake Teams.com takes a look at the tight end position for fantasy football

No surprises at the top with Rob Gronokoski and Jimmy Graham leading the way

KFFL.com, which I use frequently to look at upcoming free agents, writes about some players who could be sleepers at the wide receiver position.

Cleveland Browns wideout Greg Little should be in a good position to play a significant role in 2012 fantasy football success stories. The Brownshave few weapons in the passing game, and Little is a physical monster. A full offseason of learning the Browns’ system should do wonders for his game. Regardless of which quarterback Cleveland has under center, Little is in a good position to shine after having more time to learn this complex offense.

Rotoworld has a huge breakdown for the upcoming fantasyfootball season with a top 10 at each position.

Somewhat of a surprise–Cam Newton is number one at quarterback, Drew Brees comes in at #6 and Giants quarterback Eli Manning doesn’t even make a top ten appearance. Quarterbacks have become more and more important in fantasy football-and are the most important player if you’re league scores 6 points for touchdowns.

Running back Trent Richardson comes in as the early #3 running back. Impressive for a player who has yet to take a N.F.L. snap. Another interesting pick is Jacob Tamme at #8 for the tight ends. Take a look it’s interesting at least.

Fantasy knuckleheads as a top five position battles to watch in training camp

New England Patriots: Starting Running Back (Stevan Ridley/Shane Vereen/Joseph Addai)
With Benjarvus Green-Ellis the new starter over in Cincinnati, Ridley is the early favorite to start Week One. Vereen could also get a shot after missing time last year due to hamstring problems. Not to mention Vereen was drafted higher in last year’s draft. Most of Addai’s contract isn’t guaranteed. So if he doesn’t bounce back in August and show he still has something left in the tank, the job could wind up being shared between Ridley and Vereen, with Danny Woodhead coming in on certain situations and Addai out of a job. For now, my money is on Ridley, but any one of these guys could have value if all 3 make the 53-man roster.

I’d also keep a look out for the #3 WR for the New York Giants. Though the early favorite is clearly Rueben Randle–the number three Giants WR has generally put up pretty good numbers.
