Green Bay Packers Select Nick Perry Live Draft Grade

Everyone knew the Green Bay Packers were looking at drafting an OLB and one of the names connected to them often was OLB Nick Perry. Perry is a supremely athletic player who didn’t always play consistently with USC, but has terrific upside. Perry will play opposite Clay Matthews as the Packers look to fix the league’s worst defense–a defense that likely cost them another Superbowl. Nick Perry is solid value at that spot as he was a late first round early 2nd round fringe player.

Live Draft Grade: B

A solid B. A pick that fills a need, but also is some value. I kind of like Perry as a 43 RDE, but it’s not really a big deal, he has the ability to handle a different role.
