6’3″ 252 pounds

4.49 second 40 yard dash, 33 1/8″ arms length, 10″ hands, 24 bench press reps

36 1/2″ vertical jump, 10’2″ broad jump, 4.11 20 yard shuttle, 6.76 3 cone drill

Notes from Combine performance:

Oklahoma tight end James Hanna led all players on Saturday with a 4.49 second 40 yard dash, and looked really impressive athletically. Hanna’s performance this year really reminds me a lot of what Nevada TE Virgil Green did last year at the Combine, simply blowing everyone away with his athletic ability.

With his size at about 6’4″ 252 pounds, Hanna has ideal size you would look for in a tight end/h-back prospect and had really good production for the Sooners as a junior in 2010 with 18 catches for seven touchdowns. He followed that up with just two touchdown catches as a senior, and also displayed elite athleticism with a 36 1/2″ vertical jump and a 10’2″ broad jump. His three-cone drill was also 6.76, which is a very good time and not far off of what a lot of running backs and receivers will run.
