Former Nevada running back Mike Ball–kicked off the team for violating rules and protocol–will enter the 2012 NFL Draft, according to a report from KOLOTV.com.

Ball is the school’s all-time leading kick returner and started five games in 2011, racking up 704 yards and three touchdowns. He is going to need to get his act together if he wants to make it in the NFL or even get drafted by a team, but the talent is certainly there.

He averaged six yards per carry in his career, and could be an interesting undrafted free agent pickup.
