Fantasy Football: Add ’em Week 9

facebooktwitterreddit

I’ve done an awful job maintaining our fantasy football tab at the top of the page there so I’ll try to get to that this week. But what I have done much of is update our scouting report page, we’ve been working hard on building up our scouting reports and we’re up to 58 scouting reports for the 2012 NFL draft. Check them out here

Add ’em

Scott Chandler, TE, Buffalo Bills

If he still happens to be available in your leagues add ’em. He’s not going to control the middle of the field from 20 to 20, but more often than not this year Fitzpatrick has looked towards him in the Red-zone. Two more touchdowns on Sunday. That’s what most tight ends other than the Jason Wittens of the worlds are used for and Chandler is a better option than most in a potent offense.

Victor Cruz, WR, New York Giants

He’s up and down, but Hakeem Nicks left the game with a hamstring injury and it’s possible he’ll miss some time. On top of that the Giants rushing game is awful this year, perhaps the worst in the league and the Giants play a lot of good opponents coming up and could be using much more spread offense principles than they want to.

Brent Celek

I mentioned a few weeks ago that you might want to consider adding Brent Celek for matchups. I still say that if you have the roster spot. He’s a talented pass catcher and what the Eagles had been doing’s not working. On Sunday Celek had 7 caches for 94 yards in what should be a trend for the Eagles if they are smart.

Javon Ringer, RB, Titans

Chris Johnson has been awful this year, the team could turn to Ringer more moving forward.

Duds

Ben Obonamu

Ben Obomanu’s big game is a flash in the pan. Leave him on the waiver wire

Titus Young, Lions

He’s probably not much more than a bye week fill  in-and those are coming to an end soon (and Young has one next week).

Lance Ball, Denver Broncos

his 63 yard performance will probably be his best performance of the season.
