1. Andrew Luck, Quarterback, Stanford

Luck has been impressive this season, and he was at his best against Duke, completing 71.4 percent of his passes for 290 yards, four touchdowns, and only one interception. This guy is the real deal, folks. He takes care of business, he is smart, and he is probably the most dominant player in all of college football right now. He will have his first real test this weekend against Arizona.

2. Landry Jones, Quarterback, Oklahoma

Jones was idle week two, but he will get a great test from fifth ranked Florida State this Saturday night, a game any college football or NFL draft fan should be watching undoubtedly. Jones will be showcased against the top team in the ACC and one of the better, more underrated teams in the country despite being fifth in the polls.

3. Marcus Lattimore, Running Back, South Carolina

Lattimore was dominant against Georgia averaging 6.5 yards per carry and running wild for 176 and a touchdown. He’s a complete back with power, speed, vision, balance–the whole nine yards. He’s still only a sophomore, so the sky is the limit for this kid. He could go down as one of the all-time greats in the history of college football before it’s all said and done.

4. Kellen Moore, Quarterback, Boise State

Moore and the Broncos did not play in week two, but he was so dominant in week one that it’s hard to drop him very far on this list. I had him third last week but Marcus Lattimore was so good I felt I had to move him up. With a game this Friday against the Toledo Rockets, Moore’s gifts will be on display for the whole country to see.

5. Robert Griffin III, Quarterback, Baylor

Griffin’s dominant performance against TCU got him on this list, and may have gotten him on the NFL radar as more than just a gimmick player on offense. He and the Baylor Bears take on Stephen F. Austin this week in what should be a relatively easy game for him to showcase how dominant he truly is.
