2011 Fantasy Football: Mr. Freakin’ Fantasy Tries To Predict The Futrue

facebooktwitterreddit

It’s time to start getting very excited because the Fantasy Football season is about to start. Three preseason games have been completed, and we now have a pretty clear picture on how things will shake out for 2011.  Each year I like to try and “predict” the future so to speak, because most fantasy “experts” always say they can’t, or won’t try.

I will Predict the futrue by giving  you my take on players for the 2011 season.

I have my last Fantasy draft on September 6th. If you still have your fantasy draft use this information to your advantage. If you have drafted already, use this information to target trades.

Julio Jones. Jones will have more td’s than Roddy White.  Listen, for whatever reason none of the other writers believe White’s numbers will go down any. How the heck can that be? Are they watching Jones play. He looks great. White’s receiving numbers will most likely stay around the same, but the td’s are going down. Look for Jones to reach around 10 tds’s this year, and White to have around 6-8.

Jahvid Best. If Best can stay healthy he will be a top 15th RB this year with the Lions up and coming offence. Look for 1,500 total yards and 8-10 total td’s.

Mike Tolbert. Tolbert will have a better Fantasy season than Ryan Mathews. Period.

Shonn Greene. Greene will be a bust again, as LT again kills is value. Greene’s numbers: 900 total yards and 6 td’s.

Matthew Stafford. Stafford will throw for at least 3,800 yards and 25-30 td’s, and be top 10 at the QB position.

Calvin Johnson.  Sticking with the Lions. Megatron will be the number one Fantasy WR this year. 1,400 yards and 12-15 td’s. I really think he could push for 20 td’s, but don’t want to sound crazy. Yeah, I did say 20!

Matt Forte. Forte will be a top 8 fantasy RB this year. 1,700 total yards and 10 td’s. The bear’s line has gotten better, and it’s his second year in Mike Martz’s offence.

Frank Gore. Frank makes it through a whole season, and lives up to the hype. 1,600 total yards and 8-10 total td’s.

Hakeem Nicks. Nicks is 2nd only to Megatron at the WR position. 1,400 yards and 10-12 td’s.

Reggie Bush. Bush has a better year than Daniel Thomas. 1,200 total yards and 6-8 td’s

Jimmy Graham. Jimmy leads the Saints in td catches this year….with nine

Peyton Manning. Peyton has a worse year than his brother Eli for the first time in his career.

Maurice Jones-Drew. MJD Falls on his face this year. 1,000 total yards and 5 td’s as the Jags struggle this year with their offence, and MJD struggles with his knee….. all year.

Mario Manningham. Super Mario has 1,100 yards and 10 td’s this year, as him and Nick’s make the best tag team in the NFL at WR.

Jermichael Finley. Finley will have 1,000 yards and 10 td’s this season.

Greg Jennings. Greg takes a step back this year 1,100 yards and 6-8 td’s. He’s going way to high in drafts by the way.

Michael Vick. Vick will have at least 400 fantasy points this year if he stays healthy. Yeah…..I went there.  With Vick missing 4 in a half games last year (counting the 1st game when Kolb went down) he put up over 350 points…… 400 is not as crazy as it sounds.

Vincent Jackson. V-Jack has 1,000 and  his first 10 td season.

Matt Ryan. Ryan will throw for over 4,000 yards and 23-30 td’s as the Falcons open up the offence.

Michael Turner. Turner the burner flames out this year as the Falcons turn to the pass. 800-900 yards and 5-8 td’s….BUST!

Steven Jackson. SJ39 has his best year since 2006. 1,600 total yards and 8-12 td’s. The Ram’s offence is going to explode with Josh McDaniels in town.

Earl Bennett.  Earls leads the Bears with catches and td’s for WR’s. 85 catches 700-900 yards and 7 td’s.

Sidney Rice. Rice is a total bust this year….600-700 yards with 5 tds.  Jackson can’t throw the ball!

Mike Wallace. Wallace takes a step back this year with Sanders and Brown fighting for targets as well. 800 yards with 6-8 td’s. Can you say over-drafted??

Felix Jones. Jones has his first 1,000 yard rushing season and 8 total td’s. Making him a solid number two RB for your team.

Dez Bryant. Dez has a better year than Miles. 1,100 yards and 10 td’s is very possible for Dez.

Ray Rice. Rice will have his best year as a pro. 2,000 total yards and at least 10 td’s. Rice is getting the goal line carries this year, and now has Vonta Leach blocking for him. The only thing that will stop him is an injury. Rice could be the number one RB this year.

Arian Foster. Foster takes a step back this year as Ben Tate emerges has a solid back up, and eats into Foster’s carries. Foster’s numbers: 1,500 total yards with 8-12 td’s. Still a good number one back, but not the number one over all pick.

Brandon Marshall. Marshall has a bounce back year. 1,100 yards and 8 td’s. It’s his second year in the system. Henne has a strong arm, this year Miami lets him use it.

Tim Hightower. Tim has 1,200 total yards and 6-8 td’s making him an good number two RB for your team.

Chris Wells. Wells makes it through the whole year as the starter, and puts up great numbers: 1,300 total yards and 8-10 td’s

Mr. Freakin’ Fantasy. I get approximately half of these predictions right….who really knows though.

Well that about does it….Thanks for the Time,

Christopher Halfer…AKA…Mr. Freakin’ Fantasy.
