  • Informed RB Correll Buckhalter of his release
  • “Placed” QB Kyle Orton on trading block (Dolphins, Cardinals reported to be interested)

San Diego Chargers

  • Officially signed S Bob Sanders
  • Re-signed OT Jeromey Clary to four year deal
  • Re-signed TE Randy McMichael
  • Signed LB Takeo Spikes

Kansas City Chiefs

  • Re-signed C Casey Wiegmann to one year deal

Oakland Raiders

  • Re-signed DE/OLB Jarvis Moss

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals

  • Agreed to terms with TE Jeff King (Panthers)

San Francisco 49ers

  • Re-signed QB Alex Smith

Seattle Seahawks

  • Agreed to terms with QB Tarvaris Jackson (Vikings)
  • Also battling Minnesota for WR Sidney Rice

St. Louis Rams

  • Agreed to four-year contract with S Quintin Mikell (Eagles)

  • Informed OLB Tully Banta-Cain of his release
  • OG Logan Mankins reportedly agrees to sign Franchise Tender

Buffalo Bills

  • Agreed to terms with QB Tyler Thigpen (Dolphins)

Miami Dolphins

  • Reportedly contacted Denver Broncos about QB Kyle Orton

New York Jets

  • Re-signed RT Wayne Hunter to four-year contract

Dallas Cowboys

  • Re-signed OT Doug Free to four-year contract
  • Informed RB Marion Barber, OL Leonard Davis, WR Roy Williams of their release

Philadelphia Eagles

  • Signed undrafted FA running back Noel Devine (West Virginia)
