NFL Mocks is proud to bring you our latest feature, Player Interviews.  The staff at NFL Mocks has been working hard to establish many different relationships and thanks to agreements with Ignition APG, D1 Sports, OTG Sports Management and St. Vincent Sports Performance we are able to bring you a closer look at the NFL Draft.  Over the next several weeks you will be seeing a lot of different player interviews and we want to thank the players for taking time out of their day to answer some questions.  Hopefully these interviews will let you get a good feel for the different personalities of each prospect.

This interview was provided by Pete Hendrickson from Tulane.  Hendrickson is currently working on all aspects of his game in hopes of improving his draft stock.  We want to wish Pete good luck as the NFL Draft approaches.

Question: What has been your most memorable College Football experience?

Answer: Hendrickson vividly remembers beating Rutgers in New Jersey and that a trick play was influential to the outcome!

Question: Who was the best player you faced during your College Football Career?

Answer: Wayne Dorsey from Ole Miss is someone that Hendrickson felt had a good all around game.  “He had a great combo of size and speed”

Question: What part of your game do you feel you have improved the most during your college career?

Answer: Hendrickson feels that he has improved his knowledge of the game and his understanding of what the defense is attempting to do.  He is able to quickly recognize blitzes and line stunts.

Question: To succeed at anything in life you need to have something that drives you, what is tit that drives you to succeed?

Answer: Hendrickson stated that he has an internal drive that pushes him to be the best.  He is a perfectionist that is always striving to be the best which results in his hard work.

Question: What do you love most about football?

Answer: The physical nature of the game is something that appeals to Hendrickson.  He loves being able to lay a ferocious hit on a defender.

Question: What area of your game do you hope to improve on?

Answer: Hendrickson is working on learning the ins and outs of playing the right tackle position.  He mention that he has only played left tackle and wants to be comfortable at both positions to increase his versatility.

Question: Do you consider yourself a vocal leader or someone that leads by example?

Answer: Always being in the right position is something that is important to Hendrickson.  He wants to be someone others look to for the perfect example.

Question: When it’s all said and done what would you have liked to accomplish in the NFL?

Answer: The Super Bowl is the biggest accomplishment an NFL team could achieve and Hendrickson wants to be a part of that special moment.

Question: Does  your draft position matter to you? Will it affect you if you fall further than expected?

Answer: While his draft position will not impact his drive he would love to be drafted as high as possible.

Question: What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?

Answer: Hendrickson feels that he is a very well rounded player and capable of handling anything thrown his way.
