Each week NFL Mocks will release an article discussing the top prospect match-ups of the weekend.   We hope to show you what match-ups you should keep an eye on and what would help or hurt that prospects stock.  We encourage you to take a look at these match-ups and watch closely on Saturday to see who comes out on top.  We will discuss the results of those match-ups on Sunday.

Game:#25 Texas A&M @ Baylor

Where to Watch: Saturday November 13th, 7:00om Local

Prospects: Texas A&M OLB #40 Von Miller vs Baylor QB #10 Robert Griffin

Thoughts: This a Big 12 South Rivalry that has a little more meaning this season.  Both Baylor and Texas A&M are enjoying successful seasons but only one can win this game.  Griffin and Miller are in the discussion for the most exciting players, on their side of the football, in the country.  Both teams will be heavily counting on their stars to lead their team to victory.

How they Raise their Stock: This is an important game for Von Miller as he needs to finish the season strong to regain some of the momentum he lost during the season.  Griffin is a spectacular athlete and Miller needs to play under control if he hopes to bring Griffin down behind the line.  I would like to see Miller keep contain while still creating pressure on Griffin, if he is able to do that he will see a rise in his stock.

Game: Clemson @ Florida State

Where to Watch: Saturday November 13th, 8:00pm ABC

Prospects: Florida State QB #7 Christian Ponder vs Clemson S #2 DeAndre McDaniel

Thoughts:  Ponder has battled injuries all season long but has some how come out and performed pretty well.  However, he struggled getting zip on his passes due to a bursa sac issue.  The lingering affects of that injury will give an opportunistic safety like McDaniel a chance to create some turnovers.  Florida State is going to need a healthy and affective Ponder to remain on top of the ACC Atlantic.

How they Raise their Stock: Ponder needs to avoid mistakes but also show the ability to get the ball down the field.  McDaniel is a ball hawk with great ball skills that will capitalize on any Ponder mistakes over the middle.  Remaining focused and anticipating his throws are the key to Ponder’s game so he needs to play to this strengths.  It would really help if McDaniel is able to pull down an INT but just remaining disciplined will allow McDaniel to remain as one of the top safety prospects.

Game: #10 Oklahoma State vs Texas

Where to Watch: Saturday November 13th, 8:00pm ABC

Prospects: Oklahoma State WR #81 Justin Blackmon vs Texas CBs #4 Aaron Williams and #3 Curtis Brown

Thoughts:  It has been a rough season for the Texas Longhorns and it doesn’t get any easier this weekend.  #10 Oklahoma State comes to town boasting one of the top offenses in the country.  Wide receiver Justin Blackmon has busted on the scene and is getting a lot of attention as both a Heisman candidate and NFL prospect.  But on the other side of the ball Texas boasts two NFL prospects of their own in corners Aaron Williams and Curtis Brown.

How they Raise their Stock:  This game is a chance for the two Texas corners to make a statement.  Both will be heavily challenged by the pass heavy Oklahoma State offense.  Blackmon is arguably the top receiver they have faced this season so limiting the damage is essential to helping their draft stock.  Honestly if they hold Blackmon under 100 yards that will be a victory.
