Updated Team Needs: AFC West

One of the most important factors when preparing for the NFL Draft is knowing each and every NFL team. Denver Broncos

With the age of Champ Bailey starting to show, a lockdown CB is a need.  The loss of Dumerville also shows the lack of depth in the Broncos system.  With these 2 needs the Broncos could look at Prince Amukamara of Nebraska and, again Von Miller of Texas A&M.  The whole division runs the 3-4 so a lot of the defensive guys are interchangeable.

Kansas City Chiefs

This team is a little ahead of schedule, sitting in first place in the West division.  Let’s not get it confused though, they need some help.  Both lines need help, they could use some LB’s, a CB and a WR is a must.  Keep an eye on Michigan State MLB Greg Jones Chiefs fans, he is a possibility.  A 2nd round WR like DeAndre Brown would be a nice fit as well.

Oakland Raiders

The Raiders failed to develop JaMarcus Russell into a NFL star but that only means its time to get back on that horse and try again.  Same rule applies to the Raiders as with the Chiefs, this is a quarterback driven league and the Raiders have been without a good quarterback since Rich Gannon left.  Unfortunately for the Raiders they traded their first round pick for Richard Seymour so they will have to hope someone out of the group of  Jake Locker, Christian Ponder, Ryan Mallett, and Andrew Luck falls to the 2nd round.  As it stands now I see only Ponder being available and that’s a big maybe.  Other positions they could address is the offensive line where they can use some help at guard b/c Robert Gallery continues to struggle with injuries.

 San Diego Chargers

The Chargers are an older team, that needs help in a lot of places.  I could see them picking up a LB, NT and OL help.  One name I like for the Chargers is Texas A&M OLB Von Miller.  He can bring the heat from the outside.OL Matt Reynolds could also fit in nicely with the Chargers.
