One of the most important factors when preparing for the NFL Draft is knowing each and every NFL team. NFL Mocks keeps a very close eye on each team and will bring you an updated needs assessment at the end of each month. These needs will help as we prepare to make predictions for the 2011 NFL Draft. Continue to check out our team needs page to find the most recent assessments. Also after looking at the team needs move on over to the Big Board and see what prospects might fit your teams need.

Philadelphia Eagles

The needs for the Eagles haven’t changed much over the past few weeks. They could use a player in the defensive backfield like Ras-I Dowling or Curtis Brown. The Eagles love to blitz, so a LB/DE combo player would be an ideal fit here. Ricky Sapp was that player from the 2009 draft, but he is on the IR.   Penn State DE Jack Crawford could be an option.

Dallas Cowboys

Can the Cowboys use their first pick to draft Bill Cowher?  Other than a new coaching staff, I think the Cowboys could use some help at Offensive line and a new Safety. If I were Jerry Jones, I would take a look at OT Matt Reynolds, OG Mike Pouncey or a Safety in Ahmad Black.  If the Cowboys continue this horrible season as they are, bump the skill level of those draft picks up.  They could have a top 8 draft pick.

New York Giants

The offensive line continues to have issues protecting Eli Manning, so an offensive lineman such as Justin Boren or Matt Reynolds could be an option.  The injury concerns along the defensive line could make the Giants take a look at a player like Cameron Heyward or Adrian Clayborn.  Depending on what the off-season holds for Brandon Jacobs, the Giants may need to look at a bigger back later in the draft.

Washington Redskins

Washington seems to have solved their running back issues with the emergence of Ryan Torain as a feature back, and Clinton Portis is still sitting their as well.  Albert Haynseworth has really hurt this team since his arrival.  Whether or not he remains a member of this team, I would still draft a defensive lineman.  An outside linebacker than can create pressure opposite of Orakpo and a wide receiver are two other big time needs.
