#8 Nebraska travels north to take on QB Jake Locker and the Washington Huskies. CB Prince Amukamara and DT Jared Crick lead one the the toughest challenges for Locker this season. – The PAC-10 is involved in one of the other big out of conference games this weekend with #24 Arizona hosting #9 Iowa in a rematch from last season. It was after last years game when QB Nick Foles took over under center for the Wildcats and is someone worth keeping an eye on. He has a very tough challenge with the Hawkeye defense, especially DE Adrian Clayborn. Plus a win would go a long way to putting last years bowl game in the rear view mirror.

– In an game sure to be confusing for the scoreboard operator, the Tigers from Clemson travel to take on the Tigers of #16 Auburn. Auburn has been quite a surprise under coach Gene Chizik. They are quietly knocking on the door to the Top 15 and have a lot of young talent coming together. DT Nick Fairley has started out strong, but Clemson has strong defensive talent as well. Clemson’s DE Da’Quan Bowers and S DeAndre McDaniel will have their hands full containing Auburn QB Cameron Newton.

Not a lot of top match-ups this weeks, but there are still some entertaining games that could go either way… Georgia Tech and North Carolina are both trying to come back from losses, but only one will…Can the East Carolina Pirates keep their good fortune rolling against a desperate Virginia Tech?…Will the Florida Gators get their offense in gear against Tennessee? That rivalry that seems to have lost some luster over the offseason. Wonder whats so different?…BYU stunned a lot of people beating the Sooners last year, but they got stomped at home vs the FSU Seminoles the next week. The rematch is in Florida and FSU QB Christian Ponder needs a bounce back game, but gets a tough defensive match-up with the BYU secondary led by CB Brian Logan and hard hitting safety Andrew Rich…Another secondary rich in talent, the Texas Longhorns with get a lot of work when the head into Lubbock, TX to face the Tech Red Raiders. Corner backs Aaron Williams and Curtis Brown will have a chance to put on a show…Norte Dame takes on another school from Michigan, this time its the Michigan State Spartans. State LB Greg Jones and crew had a tough time containing FAU TE Rob Housler, a future draft sleeper, and now must keep Irish TE Kyle Rudolph from racking up the stats.
