College Football is officially here and the writers at NFL Mocks could not be more excited to start evaluating some NFL Prospects.  You can count on at least 1 article a week that will highlight a big time College Football game a week.  The article will focus on identifying some of the top prospects from each team and the key match-ups within that game.

This week’s game is Iowa vs. Arizona which figures to be an exciting match-up.  Both teams have very high expectations and have looked impresses early in the season.  Iowa features a good defense with a steady offensive attack and Arizona has one of the highest powered offense in the country.

Iowa

QB Ricky Stanzi 6-4 230 lbs. Sr. – Needs to up his completion %  and drop his turnovers.

TE Allen Reisner  6-3 248 lbs. Sr. – So far, so good in his attempt to replace Moeaki.  Could surprise some people with his skills.

DE Adrian Clayborn 6-3 285 lbs. Sr. – Burst onto the scene last year, let’s see how he handles the attention and extra blockers. Scouting Report

SS Tyler Sash 6-1 210 lbs. Jr. – He will need to create some turnovers vs AZ if they want to win.  He is a turnover machine.

OLB Jeremiha Hunter 6-2 235 lbs. Sr. – Very strong run defender, but how will he do vs the AZ passing attack?

Arizona

QB Nick Foles 6-5  240 lbs. Jr.  – This is the first big game of the season for Foles and the Wildcats, how will he handle the stingy Iowa Defense?

C Colin Baxter 6-4 295 lbs.Sr.  – Iowa has an extremely talented defensive line, but Baxter is pretty talented himself.

CB Trevin Wade 5-11 182 lbs. Jr. – It should be a good matchup for Wade when he covers Iow WR Derrell Johnson-Koulianos.

DE Ricky Elmore 6-5 260 lbs. Sr. – Big time pass rusher should be in Stanzi’s face all night. 2nd in Pac 10 with 10.5 sacks last year.

MLB Derek Earls 6-3 235 lbs Jr. – JUCO transfer has already made a difference in the middle, keep your eye this athletic MLB.
