NFC South Rookie Camps

All eyes were on Jimmy Clausen at the Carolina Panthers rookie camp.  It is expected that Clausen will have a slight head start due to his experience in a pro style offense.  While there was some attention paid to Clausen’s on the field skills, most reports were focused on the down to earth personality he displayed.  During practice Clausen looked accurate and comfortable.  The Panthers had 3^rd round pick Armanti Edward working at wide receiver and punt returner.  It was easily apparent that Edwards has a ton of speed and athletic ability.

In Tampa Bay the buzz was sounding #3 overall pick Gerald McCoy.  McCoy and 2^nd round pick Brian Price looked good during individual drills.  However, the real test won’t come for the defensive linemen until the main training camp.
