Jeff Quinn is the head coach of the University of Buffalo and he has coached two quarterbacks who are prospects in the 2010 NFL Draft — Tony Pike of Cincinnati and Dan LeFevour of Central Michigan. Quinn says that the Bills should consider selecting one of the two quarterbacks… if not both.
“Bring ‘em both on,’’ Quinn said on Saturday. “I think both of them are outstanding quarterbacks.’’
Quinn coached Pike at Cincinnati where he served as offensive coordinator and LeFevour at Central Michigan.
“I’ve seen Danny in his younger days and he’s emerged to be a great quarterback,’’ Quinn said. “I’ve seen Tony play against some of the best competition in the country in the Big East and help us win two back-to-back Big East championships at Cincinnati. You can never have enough good leadership and enough playmaking ability and both present the ability to play at the NFL level. It’s going to be exciting to see.’’
The Bills will definitely be looking to sure up the quarterback position during this year’s draft. It is possible that they could target Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen with their pick in the first-round — ninth overall.
However, if Quinn has discussions with the Bills coaching staff and tells them about his former QB’s, perhaps the team could go with one of the signal-callers that they have more insight on.

How much different is Pike and LeFeavour from Edwards, Brohm, and Fitzpatrick? Why waste a 3rd round pick on players you already have… go big or not at all!!
I agree. While LeFevour could potentially develop into a good quarterback, I would take Clausen if they are going to select a QB high in the draft. Even though he has high bust potential, at least his ceiling is higher than the other two QBs mentioned.
