Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen worked out for NFL personnel today in South Bend. Clausen will continue making the rounds to NFL teams, but before he can do so he needs to make a stop in Indianapolis on Saturday for a medical re-check. Clausen mentioned the news during an on-air interview with ESPN’s Todd McShay.
It is common for players with injuries to return to Indy for follow-up medical evaluations. According to Clausen, doctors want to re-evaluate his surgically repaired big toe.
After the re-check, Clausen will visit Buffalo and St. Louis and he will then return to South Bend for a private workout with the Washington Redskins.
