Mike Shanahan is eager to draft and develop future QB for the Redskins
Mike Shanahan has a lot of work ahead of him this upcoming offseason as he takes his first steps to turn around the Washington Redskins.
Shanahan and new general manager Bruce Allen have been keeping their cards close and not revealing the direction they will go in the upcoming draft.
The Redskins hold the fourth overall pick in this year’s draft as well as selections in the second, fourth, fifth and seventh rounds.
A source very familiar with Shanahan and his thinking has said that the head coach is eager to take a young quarterback in this draft and develop him. Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford has most commonly been linked to the Redskins. Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen has also drawn some interest.
Washington also has big holes to fill along the offensive line and in the secondary.

What has happened with Colt Brennan. Have the Redskins given up on him?
