Top Propect Russell Okung Chooses Agent

The No. 1 offensive lineman and No. 2 player on the NFL Mocks Big Board Russell Okung has made a big decision.

Liz Mullen of SportsBusiness Journal has reported that Okung has chosen Peter Schaffer and Lamont Smith as agents. The pair will be in charge of negatiating the Oklahoma State tackle’s rookie contract.

Okung is expected to be a top five selection.

Both Schaffer and Smith represented Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas, who was selected third-overall in the 2007 draft. Thomas received a five-year deal that was worth as much as $42.5 million with $22-$23 million.
