Florida offensive linemen, and twin brothers, Maurkice and Mike Pouncey have let us know what will influence their NFL futures. Speaking to the Gainesville Sun, Mike Pouncey, who plays guard, said, “If I’m not going to be in the second round I’m coming back. I’ll come back to play center next year to improve my draft stock.”
He even had some kind words for his brother who plays center. “Maurkice plays a more unique position, so I hope he gets drafted higher,” said Mike.
If one brother leaves, the other could still return. Maurkice is following the Pouncey Plan and acknowledged that if he was not going to be drafted in the first two rounds that he would return for his senior year.
“It’s not like we’re top-15 picks,” he said. “We’re taking it slow and if we need to come back, we’ll come back.”
