Florida Gators Reinstate DE Carlos Dunlap for Sugar Bowl

Florida Gators head coach Urban Meyer has announced that the team will reinstate top NFL prospect Carlos Dunlap for the teams Sugar Bowl game. Dunlap was suspended for the Gators SEC Championship game against Alabama after he was arrested for a DUI charge on Dec. 1.

Dunlap will join the team as they take on No. 4 Cincinnati on New Year’s Day.

The arrest may drop Dunlap down some team’s draft boards, but with his size (6’6, 290) and speed someone will take a chance on him. Dunlap is very productive on the field and he has exceptional footwork and a natural ability to rush the passer.

It is widely speculated that Dunlap will declare for the NFL Draft after this season. He is currently No. 20 on the NFL Mocks Big Board.
