Oklahoma RB DeMarco Murray on NFL Draft: I haven’t made any decisions yet

Oklahoma Sooners running back DeMarco Murray is not ready to make any decisions on his NFL future just yet.

“I feel like I’ve got to take the opportunity to at least think about it, not put a stamp on it and say I’m going to come back next year,” Murray said. “I haven’t made any decisions yet. I’m still thinking about it. At the end of the day I’ve got to make the best decision for myself.

“If I do want to come back, I’ve got to come back for the right reasons. I want to help this team win a national championship. But in the position I am in, I think I at least need to take this shot and think about it and see where it goes after the bowl game.”

Murray has been plagued by injuries throughout his collegiate career. While he has the potential to enter the first round, he would need to return to school for another year and improve his stock or likely see himself go in the late second or third round in 2010.

Murray has previously said that he was “pretty sure” he would return to Oklahoma for his senior season, but Murray has since taken a step back from those comments.

Murray has until Jan. 15 to make a decision.
