Cal RB Jahvid Best submits paperwork to NFL Draft Advisory Committee

Jahvid Best, No. 19 on the NFLMocks.com Big Board, has submitted his paperwork for evaluation by the NFL Draft Advisory Committee.
Best has recently been ruled out of the team’s bowl game against Utah. The Cal running back has been out since a horrific fall during a touchdown run on Nov. 7 that left him unconscious in the endzone. That play against Oregon State may have been Best’s last in a Golden Bear unifom.
Best could soon bolt for the NFL where he would likely be a first-round pick.
Best told the Contra Costa Times, “Right now, I sent that in just to get information. After the bowl game, I’ll sit down with my family and coaches and make a decision. As of now, I’m completely on top of the fence.”
