Rob Rang of nfldraftscout.com is a more generous grader in his piece, giving the Seahawks one of the five A's he handed out across the league. Rang, who lives in Gig Harbor, was apparently one of the few national evaluators who bothered to notice the Seahawks picked up a 2010 first-round pick by trade.

Like their divisional neighbors to the south (the 49ers), the Seahawks were able to wrestle away a future first-round pick (from Denver) and still fulfill their greatest areas of concern. The headlining pick is outside linebacker Aaron Curry, who fills a huge area of need following the trade of Julian Peterson and the draft-weekend decision to take the franchise tag off linebacker Leroy Hill. The addition of the versatile Max Unger and speedy receiver/returner Deon Butler filled Seattle's three biggest needs seamlessly. Don't be surprised if at least one of the club's seventh-round picks (safety Courtney Greene, defensive end/linebacker Nick Reed and tight end Cameron Morrah) makes this club.
