Jay Cutler to Detroit?

Jay Cutler wants out of Denver and it’s looking more and more like the Broncos have no choice but to trade him. One of the main teams in the NFL needing a quarterback would obviously be the Detroit Lions, who need help everywhere they can get it.

Cutler would become the Lions franchise quarterback by starting from day one. If I’m Detroit I automatically fly to Denver and talk to the Broncos about possible deals involving 25 year old Cutler. The key to the trade will be on the Broncos side.

Do the Broncos have enough salary cap space to make this deal? That’s the key. Any time a trade is in the works for the overall #1 pick in the NFL Draft money is the main issue. Detroit does have to do something though, and so does Denver.

Another possible landing spot for Cutler would include Cleveland where the Browns could offer up either Derek Anderson or Brady Quinn.
