Round 1 pick should be all about OT. I would be happy with any of the big 4 becoming a Bengal- ASmith/ JSmith/ Monroe/ Oher. Going into the 2nd round it should be a Center- Mack/ Unger (hopefully one will drop to their 2nd round pick).

A lot is going to depend on what, if anything, the Bengals do in free agency. IMO they would be smart to fill in the center and fullback positions early in March. Especially at center there looks to be a number of good, if older, candidates. Filling those two holes would free them up a lot in April. There's also the question of Chad -- if they do trade him, they will hopefully get an extra pick sometime in the first three rounds. I doubt they get anything close to the offer DC made last April, but maybe they pick up a second like they did when they sent Dillon to NE. I think the Bengals could get away without an OT, but then I think you have to look at an interior lineman in the second or third in case you have to move Whit to the outside.

The Bengals finally realized this year and finally is dedicating this offseason to teh trenches. There will be plenty of evaluating where A.C., Whit and Bobbie will fit best on the line. Secondary discussions will be does Levi Jones still factor in? But they will realize that in order to make 2009 successful they will draft an OT and Center within the first 3 rounds of the draft. The only other true need position is FB, many people believe that WR and DL is a huge need, but by the time they get to these in the 4th round you can be reaching if you try to get a postion. Big thing the Bengals will do this year in the 4th round on is look for athletes, natural athletes with certain skill sets will be what they are looking for. But this draft and 2009 will not be a succes without an OT and C in the first 3 rounds.
