The lions couldn,t stop any team last season.Go defense the best player in the draft A. Curry. Then go OT and DT. Best available. defense wins games.Pittsburgh#1defense with a so so offense.

The lions should fix the O line in the first round. Culpper isn’t great but we can get the kid from ball state in the third and give him a couple years to develop. Or trade the #1 overall for Jay Cutler he may be available. The point is there are 3 better QB’s coming out next year and we’ll have a top 3 pick again.

Andre Smith would be a terrible choice. If he can't get ready for the combine, how do you expect him to be ready to actually earn the millions that a first round draft choice would command. Since defense is the key to winning on an annual basis, I would recommend at least two defensive players in the first round. Then start to peck away at the Offense.

The Lions just need to beef up their OL. With a supreme OL.. any QB should have enough time to complete an accurate pass. Although, their defense definitely needs to do their part in winning games as well. I say take Andre Smith, and Laurinaitus in 1ST.. and possibly the next best OL or best DT or DE available in the 2nd round. Maybe they would start winning games!!!

The Lions need about everything but if you don't have a franchise QB and you have the opportunity to get one, you have to do it. Stafford is a stud. I am no fan of UGA but I do follow SEC football and Stafford is the best QB since Manning to play in the SEC. That includes Cutler who is in the Pro Bowl this year.

I couldn't agree more with you Kevin. The lions need a QB but not this draft. Shore up the lines and get backass to the Guard position and maybe he can block with a man on either side of him. If you give Orlovsky time he looked pretty good in the pocket with only one receiver out there. Hoping for 4 wins next year.

He also hit Calvin from that very same place for a touch down. Orlovsky is not perfect, but he is good enough for now. I don't always blame the QB when the line can't hold jack and the defense is the second worst in the history of the sport.

The Team was bad and therefore would allow bad things. Would the endzone thing have happened if the guys around him weren't terrible and Calvin wasn't double/triple covered? QB is a position that needs to be addressed, but in time. There are greater needs at the moment.
