Florida vs. Alabama: What will happen?
Who is the best team in college football? We will find out who one of them is this weekend in the SEC Championship game when Florida takes on Alabama.
So what will happen? Here’s my guess.
Using their speed Florida’s offense will be able to score on most of their possessions. Alabama will have to play defense on offense by keeping Florida’s offense off the field.
The Crimson Tide’s defense is stout as well, and I’m sure they will be a big test for the Gators offense.
Special teams will also be important. The Gators block kicks consistently every week, but the real battle is on kick returns. Will Javier Arenas or Brandon James win out and make a big play?
I expect Florida to win the game 31-17. Expect Jeffery Demps and Chris Rainey to combine for about 150 yards rushing. Florida will somewhat shut down Alabama’s running game and force John Parker Wilson to throw.
