#1: When Tom Brady goes down the Patriots whole team stops playing at a high level. The last time I checked Brady has never played defense, but apparently he had some affect on them. You can call it age if you want, but something changed when Brady left.

NFL Mock Draft 5.1: Updating The Draft Order

This update is mainly just to update the order of the draft and to swap the few players around that last week’s games affected. I also put the Dallas-Detroit trade into this draft since I forgot to do so last time around. Remember I welcome comments so make sure you tell me what you think.

First here’s some frequently asked questions about my mock draft:

1) The order is done by the current NFL standings. This probably would not be the exact order if the draft took place today (coin flips & playoffs would have to be complete) but it’s a pretty good estimation of what it would look like.

2) This draft has not picked 12 playoff teams. Instead I just did it in the exact order of the NFL Standings, that way nobody can complain about this team or that team being in or out of the playoffs. I will adjust this when we know who the 12 playoff teams are but until then all of my mock drafts will look this way.

Is Tim Tebow a NFL QB?

Why are people so down on Mauluaga?

I had Ray Mauluaga going to the Lions #2 overall in my last mock draft (new one coming soon). I was just wondering what people have against the USC linebacker.

He can play, we all know that. I think he’s one of the better defensive players available in the 2009 NFL Draft. Not only can he knock you out with a big hit but he can also make the game changing interception. He is always flying to the football.

Chiefs Fans: Is Tyler Thigpen the answer?

Four weeks ago this was a dumb question and it still may be.

The Chiefs are still not winning but the last two weeks they have been very competitive, including being tied or ahead in the 4th quarter of both games. On Sunday they lost due to a failed two point conversion try and against the Buccaneers they blew a 21 point lead.
