And that's why I like Michael Crabtree so much

Posted by: nflmocks

You read it here first.

In July I was talking about how in awe I am at Michael Crabtree and his ability to make plays with the football.  Crabtree just made me look like the smartest man in America.

In case you missed it, Texas Tech trailed Texas 33-32 with less than ten seconds left Saturday night in Lubbock. Who did Graham Harrell go to on the next play?

You gussed it. Crabtree. And he scored. Not only did he score a touchdown, but he also scored the biggest touchdown in Texas Tech history. It was a touchdown big enough to propel the Red Raiders from 7th to 2nd in the latest BCS standings, and in position to go to their first BCS national championship game.

I’ve said this many times and i will repeat it again. Crabtree is eligible for the NFL Draft this year as a Redshirt Sophomore (his third year of eligibility) and when he goes he will be the best player available. He’s the only can’t miss prospect I see in the 2009 NFL Draft, if he decides to leave.

So thank you Michael Crabtree for proving me right.

            BallHype: hype it up!

  1. 1. DJ Says:

So is he going to get bumped up to #1 on the board?

  2. 2. Daniel Evans Says:

I had him #1 but brought him down a few spots after considering offensive lineman seem to translate to the NFL faster than any other position.
