I first do not think they need a RB cause they drafted #34Smith and they do not need a Qb cause they don't have a base to build around, with the three picks in the first 2 rounds they need to go with Smith from Bama and then De Selvie with Dallas pick and then hopefully Cushings or Spikes falls to 33 pick or Saftey Mayes from USC. Well the lions will be picking first unless they win two games which I do not see( I'm a Lions Fan).

Look at past draft top picks for the Eagles. Mike Patterson, Shawn Andrews, Jerome McDougle, Brodrick Bunkley, and Trevor Laws(round 2 but first selection). The highest safety they ever took was Michael Lewis in the 2nd round. Other than him it has been late round or undrafted guys. Sean Considine round 4, Quintin Demps round 4, JR Reed 4th round, Quintin Mikell undrafted, and Clinton Hart undrafted. It just seems to be a philosophy thing with the Eagles. Crabtree was redshirted as a Freshman making this season his third year of eligibility, which is all the NFL requires a player to complete before they become eligible to enter the NFL Draft.
