While I agree with leaving the teams where they are, I have to disagree with the first pick completely. Miami just spent two high draft picks on DE’s this year in Merling and Langford. I don’t see them spending a 1st rounder on one next year…too early to see if these guys pass or fail.

I do think that ILB is a likely choice and Maluaga wouldn’t surprise me at all truth be told.

Oh, and in case you forgot, the GIANTS BEAT THE FREAKING PATRIOTS…

    Al Woods at 4 wow.
    Tim Tebow sucks.
    Matt Stafford to Buff, lol.
William Moore is a killer S should got top 20.

i like all ofhese picks except hat Al Woods is going to have to havea great year if he is to go top ten. I also like how you considered the teams different schemes.

The Lions don’t need another undertackle. They’re about 3 deep at that position. They do need a DE, on the other hand. Coincidentally, the next DE in your draft available is a guy you have going to 2 teams: #19 Philly, #24 Tennessee; Greg Hardy. If he’s so good that he can play for 2 teams, sign him up for the Lions:)

Some of these picks i disagree with completly. First, the Al Woods at four isn’t going to happen. Fili Moala will be the first tackle taken. Second, I don’t think the bills will be in the running for a top QB just yet. Trent Edwards is looking pretty good. I did like the top pick, if Miami does have number one then I do think Michael Johnson could be the pick. Yes they did draft two ends this year, but Johnson will play stand up end/ outside linebacker in Sporano’s scheme.

Thanks for the comments Jim. Of course many of us are going to disagree with any mock especially before the season has even started and draft order is known.

As a Packer fan, I’d love to see William Moore fall to us, but I think we need a corner more, so maybe Victor “Macho” Harris or Mike Mickens here? And of course, it’s impossible for the Packers to trade up to get a good player, in past years they’ve shown they’re inept at that, so Davis and Jenkins are out of the question. Also, Davis is as good as Jenkins, don’t be surprised if he goes top ten.

With Bernard Berrian, Sidney Rice, and Aundre Allison (even Bobby Wade) I don’t think the Vikings are going to be looking for a 1st round reciever. Childress (the coach) has even famously said that he will never take a first round WR. Look for them to take a TE who can catch the ball and hang on to it, a CB, or even an OL.

    maclin is a sophomore

The Texans are going with Malcom Jenkins or Vonte Davis if any of them are on the board. I could see them taking Michael Johnson if he fall and Jenkins is gone because johnson isnt going first. the last option is they trade down and take Taylor Mays.

I would love to see the Bengals take Maualuga!
