1. Miami Dolphins - OT Jake Long, Michigan
The Tuna starts off his rebuilding project with a different menu item–beef. The player some consider to be the surest bet in the draft goes first, just edging out the other Long, Chris. Knowing the Dolphins extremely well–I used to cover the Fins–I can honestly say that their offensive line is an albatross.

Given the solid play- by year’s end, of Leon Hall and Jonathan Joseph, CB is about the only spot on defense you can be sure the Bengals won’t draft. There’s a very strong possibility they trade up to get Ellis but, barring that, Rivers, Derrick Harvey, or- now that Henry’s been waived and Chad’s out displaying his inner moron in public, maybe Devin Thomas. The receiver need, though, will probably be handled later because 9 is too high for any of this year’s crop. Actually, so is 11.
