January 22nd, 2008 at 2:56 pmI believe the Giants are picking 31 or 32, not Dallas.
January 22nd, 2008 at 5:37 pmBilly,
I had this Mock done before the playoff games. So I figured I would post it. I am going to update this weekend and switch the picks.
The Giants will be at the 31st spot I believe and everyone else will move up a spot. Not sure where you saw Dallas at 31 or 32.

January 23rd, 2008 at 5:59 pmI’d have no problem drafting a stud DL with Niners first pick…a lot depends of whether they re-sign Isaac Sopoaga. Nolan wants him back, “Soap” as he’s called wants to come back. Nolan envisions him playing at DE, vice NT. He wants a huge front three…with Sopoaga and NT Franklin, that’s 2/3 of it. The need is for a big stud to play the other DE. Marques Douglas is an UFA and could well sign elsewhere, plus he’s a big undersized for what Nolan wants to do. If Balmer could play DE, we’re in business. Other possibility is Mike Martz will lobby hard for an offensive guy…probably a WR, like Doucet (to play slot receiver) or Bowman (more of a big play guy).
